Erin Sutton is the Senior Director of Public Policy at Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota, where she leads organization-wide advocacy and public policy efforts. In this role, she builds strategic relationships with elected officials and public partners while strengthening advocacy engagement and capacity across the organization.

Erin brings a community-centered approach to her work, grounded in her prior experience as a birth doula and educator supporting individuals experiencing incarceration and families facing homelessness. She is deeply committed to advancing policies that reflect the lived experiences of those most impacted, centering their voices in efforts to drive meaningful social change.

She holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Augsburg University.
